We participated at the 25th International Conference on Subterranean Biology that was held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, 18-22 July 2022. The venue was organized by our colleagues from Emil Racovitza Institute of Speleology from Cluj and under the auspices of International Society for Subterranean Biology. This conference gathers scientists from all over the world that work on the subterranean species and habitats.
Helena was invited to give a key lecture The role of phenotypic plasticity in the evolution of cave-dwelling animals. Other members of the lab also presented results of their research through oral and poster presentations. Proceedings of the 25th ICSB are available here.
