Fieldtrip to Sweden

In August 2021 Helena and Jana visited the Lummelunda cave and creek in the island of Gotland in Sweden. Our aim was to find and collect a remarkable troglomorphic population of waterlouse Asellus aquaticus. We enjoyed sampling in a very nice cave and creek, but also had some spare time to visit Visby and the island of Fårö and its’s impressive sea stacks. And of course, we enjoyed local culture and culinary delicacies. For all the logistics and permits we are very grateful to Vid Baković, Dominic Wright and especially Anders Hargeby from Linköping University.
