We participated at the 1st Caucasian Symposium on Subterranean Biology that was held in Tbilisi, Georgia, 16-27 June 2023. The venue was organized by cave biologists from Ilia State University, Tbilisi.
Helena gave a talk about our recent discoveries on crustaceans entitled Lessons from recent and ongoing cave colonizations: an example of Asellus aquaticus (Crustacea: Asellidae), while Marko presented our guidelines for building invertebrate and cave fish facilities in talk Practical guide for building the Astyanax and cave invertebrate facility.
