At the end of November Helena and Marko visited Rink’s Department of Tissue Dynamics and Regeneration, Max Planck Institute, Gӧttingen. We had a warm welcome from lab members that were with us on our September fieltrip. We also met other lab members and had a lot of interesting discussions.
Planarian collection manager Rick guided us through the entire flatworm facility and lab and answered hundreds of our questions. We learned a lot about culturing flatworms and many tips and tricks how to make them happy in cultures. During our visit Helena was invited to give a talk about adaptive evolution in caves for GönomiX Kolloquium.
